Working at Wiley Well Drilling
Wiley Well Drilling is a family-owned company based in Union City, IN. James Wiley started drilling wells here in 1945, and today the fourth generation of the family works alongside a small crew of seven full-time employees. It is a close-knit shop where you will learn the trade from people who have spent their careers in it.
Our owner, Larry Wiley, holds the National Ground Water Association’s Master Ground Water Contractor designation, one of only three in Indiana. We are a licensed Indiana well driller, registered in Ohio, and members of both the Indiana Ground Water Association and the NGWA.
The Work
Our crews drill new water wells for homes, farms, and businesses, install irrigation wells, repair and replace well pumps, set up constant pressure systems, and handle well cleaning, inspections, and abandonment. Jobs take us across eastern Indiana and western Ohio, from Muncie and New Castle to Greenville, Troy, and Dayton. The work is outdoors and hands-on, and no two job sites are quite the same.
