Family owned since 1945
Meet Our Experienced Water Well Drilling Team
Four generations of the Wiley family, seven full-time employees, and one Master Ground Water Contractor — all working out of Union City, IN.
Wiley Well Drilling, Inc. is a 4th generation family-owned and operated business established in 1945 by James Wiley. In that year, James purchased our first drilling rig on the day his son and current owner, Larry Wiley, was born.
Jack Wymer (3rd generation of the Wiley Family), Vice President, is standing to the right of Larry. Larry has earned the coveted designation of “Master Ground Water Contractor” from the National Ground Water Association and is one of only three with that designation in Indiana and one of only 89 nationwide. The designation of Master Ground Water Contractor (MGWC) recognizes those who have proven exceptional knowledge and dedication in water well construction and pump installation. Jack is also certified in well construction and pump installation through the National Ground Water Association.
Brendan is a water well driller licensed in Indiana and Ohio. He is the 4th generation of the Wiley family involved in the business.
Wiley Well Drilling is a member of both the Ohio Water Well Association and the Indiana Ground Water Association. All of our drillers are licensed and insured.
We have 7 dedicated full-time employees ready to serve you. When you call, Chrissy — our Office Manager — will be happy to schedule an appointment for you at (765) 584-8648.

What Our Customers Say
Very professional. Had my pressure tank and well pump replaced in less than 2.5 hours. Will definitely use this company again.
Great team. Residential pump went out Monday before I had to leave on a trip. They were out the next day earlier than planned. Got right to work explaining everything as they went. Very friendly hard working team. I am so grateful for their expertise and work ethic. On top of that they gave me a fare price which I didn’t see from other companies in the area. Can’t reccomend highly enough! Thanks guys you’re life savers.
Wiley Well Drilling is the BEST company I have ever had a pleasure to do business with!! From the analysis of my well to the digging and hook up, it was a great smooth process. I have dealt with many contractors and companies that lack professionalism and customer service, BUT Wiley Well Service, Larry, Brendan, and Spencer were such a Pleasure to work with! Do not call ANYONE else but WILEY Well Drilling for your well needs!!
They are so efficient and great at their jobs. When you call they will come by the next day and they do awesome work. Will tell everybody please contact Wiley’s for a job that needs fixing right.
Had my well pump short out and called them Sunday morning. They offered to have someone come out right away. They showed up within an hour and had the system back up and running an hour after that. Very responsive, polite, and professional.
